May 12 is the annual International Nurses Day. Under the special circumstances of this year's COVID-19 pandemic, many nurses are still working on the front line of the fight against the epidemic, fighting to protect people's lives.

Many caring merchants in Xinhua Meituan Waimai took the initiative to express their gratitude to the medical workers who stayed at their posts during the epidemic on Nurses' Day. So we cooperated with the Xinhua County People's Hospital Trade Union to organize this charity event.

Early in the morning, Meituan's merchants began to get busy preparing the products needed for the day. The products donated by some merchants were equivalent to their daily sales volume, and they needed to complete them in such a short time, which showed great dedication.

Taking into account that not every medical worker is at work that day, some businesses also provide coupons, and medical workers are welcome to come to the store to collect them at any time.

During the event, caring merchants provided 750 cups of milk tea and 500 milk tea coupons that can be collected at the store at any time. Xinhua Meituan takeaway station provided 200 fruit platters. Marilyn Desserts provided small cakes of love to medical workers.

List of caring merchants (ranking in no particular order, regardless of the size of the caring):

  • Shuyi Herbal Jelly (Oriental City Plaza)
  • Tea Story (Oriental City Plaza)
  • Yihetang (Risheng Store)
  • Tea Dian (Yizhong Branch)
  • Kuroshio (Yizhong Branch)
  • Tofu Xueyue (Oriental Supermarket Plaza Store)
  • Lanji Old Hong Kong Tea (Oriental Supermarket Plaza Store)
  • Marilyn Dessert

Notes: Some merchants who participated in the event took the initiative to tell me: "This event is a good one. If there are similar events in the future, I must participate again." It was a free donation, and they also said thank you to me. I was very moved. I really want to spread this love. Under the epidemic, all walks of life are struggling to resume work and production. Our merchants are still enthusiastic about public welfare activities, which makes people feel very warm. But people's goodness makes this society full of love.
